Hello! I'm Chance Kearl.

I love the art and technology of character animation. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's of Computer Science with an Animation Emphasis in December of 2023. There I gained confidence working and being in a technological evironment. I learned how computers work to aid in animation. I also learned how they don't. No matter how well I could program, animation is ultimately an art form that requires an ability to observe and recreate the illusion of life.

After BYU I enrolled in AnimSchool to develop my artistry as an animator. Learning under working industry professionals has been the push I needed to prepare myself for work in the animation industry. I learned how to see the principles of animation in the world around me. I learned what is required to be a great animator.

Outside of animation I love spending time with my family, especially seeing my daughter grow up. When I get the occasional hour to myself, I love playing and watching soccer, playing Rocket League, watching Formula 1, and spending my days at Disneyland.
